Racing Certainty - The Independent Goes Red

15 May 2006
Bono's racing tips, new art from Banksy and Damien Hirst and US Secretary of State Condi Rice on music... this is the breaking news from the headquarters of The Independent in London where Bono has spent the day in the editor's chair.

Tomorrow the UK quality newspaper donates half its revenues to the RED Campaign which is putting the weight of the corporate world behind the fight against HIV/AIDS in the poorest countries. And with Bono acting as editor for one day there are lots of innovations planned including an interview between Stella McCartney and Giorgio Armani, an exclusive view of new photographs by the artist Sam Taylor-Wood and a conversation between Bono and the comedian Eddie Izzard.

Elvis Costello has been writing for Bono too!

If you're in the UK support Red and snap up a copy in the morning. If not we'll be bringing you some more on this special editon of The Independent as soon as we get it.
